1933 Chevrolet 3 window coupe. Nostalgic hot rod, AutoRama show car, built in 1961.

This car is rock solid, rust free, razor straight and has perfect wood. It runs and drives like the day it was built.

This '33 Chevy Coupe is well documented, with pictures, notes and receipts from the time Albert Milligan Sr. bought the car in 1960 until it was last driven by his 70 year old son Al Milligan Jr. in 2011.

In 1960, the car was purchased from James Henderson of Florence, Ma.

On October 29, 1961 a 1954 Corvette six cylinder (0318203E54YC), complete with side draft carbs was purchased From Robert and Everett Pomeroy for $95. The Corvette Six was Alberts choice because it could be installed without chopping or cutting anything on the “Buggy”.

A 1955 Chevy three speed transmission, clutch, swing arm assembly and rear end were also purchased and installed and still remain in the car 50+ years later.

The car was rust free, with perfect wood, when purchased by Albert Sr. and is the same today.

Both father and son were craftsmen, Al Sr. was an engineer and Jr. was a machinest by trade. This car has quality workmanship throughout and is, in my opinion, one of the nicest, 60’s built Hot Rods in existence, with the documentation to back it up.

Albert Sr. parked the car in 1980 and transferred ownership to Al Jr. in 1983.

The car had a black lacquer repaint in 1989 that is starting to show its age, The running boards were replace with glass ones at that time because the original rubber matting was not available, the original rust free running boards were saved, stored in the basement, and go with the car. The original bench seat was replaced with two Mustang seats to make it easier for Albert Sr. to get in and out of the car, the original bench seat and door panels still covered in old naugahyde with piping done in the sixty’s also were saved and go with the car. When the car was built in 1961, all the original parts that were taken off the car were saved and stored in owners basement, they also go with the car, these include the 5 original wheels and tires, transmission, rear end, front end brakes etc, radiator, hood side panels and boxes of misc. parts.

I could go on about the car, but prefer to answer specific questions any serious buyer may have, I can be reached at 413 204-6179 if you would like to talk in person. Reserve is fair, given the condition, rarity, history and quality of the car. Thank-you
