Our quiet nieghborhood

Last night before dark I thought I'd try out the Selective Color Effect in V-I-D-E-O mode on the Nikon. Before I went outside I shot a blue roll & a red roll of vinyl off the rack to get color samples. As you'll see it's a nice quite street with an occasional passerby. It was all going great, only red & blue stuff was in color, just like it was spoz' to be. Then at the end some joker messed it up. :whacked:

Be sure to turn your sound up. I uploaded this @ 1080 so if you have a slower connection you may want to select a lower res. like 480 or so to keep the video streaming.

:confused:Couldn't figure out what was going to be so "special" for a few. But then :eek::cool:....that's pretty cool. Having the sound at 100% is key.

Dave I hear that familiar sound all the time here (not behind me though :D ). But usually they are after real speeders not Digitally enhanced units like the p.u. . :LOL::LOL: Living about 1 block from the edge of town they are pedal to the metal by the time they go past our place. :whacked:

I used to leave towns (other people's towns) that way, too!!!! Dumps open, bangin' gears, and the back end hung out!!!! Most of the times the local gendarme was so glad to see me leave he didn't bother with any pursuit!!!! Growing up in a small town of 500 people most of us learned early in our Hot Rodding career that it was better to raise a ruckus in someone else's town, but behave in your own!!!!! When I was 16 I was banned for life from a small town just across the Minnesota state line----twice!!!!!

I once left town (not my own, my girlfriend's) in a big hurry one night. Then a few days later I went back (girlfriend's town you know). The cop pulled me over, I thought hey I'm not speedin' or nothin' what's he doin'? He invited me back to his car where he read me the riot act about my hasty exit a few nights before. He told me how long the black marks were, ( I was actually impressed) :LOL::LOL: and told me how may complaints he received. I can't believe to this day there were that many. Heck they go flyin' by here all the time & I've yet to register one complaint. Maybe cuz' that sound brings back such fond memories. :D:D
