Prayers for my Son needed !

We will continue with prayers for Bo from here, Em!!!! If it could be called good news, it does sound like he's in a hospital with Doctor's who are looking for a cause (and a fix) for the problem rather then just keeping him for awhile and sending him home!!!!! Perhaps the Divine Intervention has already place him where the Doctor's and staff will fix what's wrong??????

Just heard from his Mom, she has been with him all day !

After they got the meds and Pain Management going this morning, he was able to sit up and eat some chicken broth, take his IV stand in the bathroom and do his morning personals and even took a shower this evening. However, they're still looking for the source of the headaches and nausea so they are putting their heads together for a spinal ?thingie? tomorrow but that's all she knew so we'll have to wait and get the update tomorrow while moving. YUCK

I tend to agree with you, Dave, I think it has begun and he is on the road to recovery and finding out what caused all of this to flare up all of a sudden. Such a blessing to know that he's not hurting like he was yesterday. Sherry and I didn't get to bed until almost midnight but we laid there and talked and cried and prayed until we both fell asleep.

Hopefully, I'll be back online Friday afternoon with another update and even better news but until then, thanks and God Bless you and yours.

A friend of mine(78) has (had)pain in his legs and rear. they gave him the shots and he could have gone dancing. but they only last about 9 mo. then they have to give him another he gets around real good now. Hope your son has the same luck we're praying

Mate...we are so sorry to hear of his re admittance..Our prayers are with you all,and we hope for a speedy recovery for him,and also for your strength to carry on with all this wotkload that is on your shoulders..We pray the doctors have got a handle on whats giving him this problem.. Hang in there brother..

WOW Mello, I haven't been on in a while & just read this.
Glad to hear things are looking up & your son is getting better.
Tell him to take it easy, listen to the doctor, learn & study about his injury because if it's an injury to his neck/spine :eek: it ain't anything to F with.

I have had nerve blocks & hundreds steroid injections into my spine, knees & shoulders to ease the pain.
Does it work, for the most part yes.
Does it work for everyone every time, NOPE.
What causes the problems, you name it.
From just sneezing to brushing your teeth, making the bed to something as simple as standing up or sitting down to a hard braking stop in a car.

After being rear ended(2x same accident) by a Tractor Trailer Tow Truck towing a loaded 30ft box truck I started having among other problems episodes of those "Put a gun in your mouth & pull the trigger headaches". It felt like everything behind my face was going to explode. I wanted to throw up all the time, couldn't eat, any light or noise would go right threw me w/intense pain. I would lay in bed for days at a time w/a cold wash rag over my eyes & forehead. I would eat laying on my side & in the dark.
My problem was several herniated & fractured disc's in my neck. When all else failed, fusion & hardware took care of most of the pain & problems for me.
I also use a TENS Unit, Heat, Ice, Hot Showers, Acute Pressure and Meditation to help my pain.
Do I do drugs??????

If I didn't I would be psychotic by now because of the pain.
When I need something for my lovely headache problems I have found Tramadol works wonders for me............joe

Thanks Y'all, I spoke with him today and he is much better but they still haven't diagnosed the cause so keep the thoughts and prayers a'coming. Still moving from the old house and my tail is dragging my tracks out but hopefully we'll have everything down and maybe I can kick back for a day or so.
