I've been accused of a lot of things, but never for being politically correct or not saying how I see things. Also, the day they had Sensitivity Training I skipped school.....

All these "experts" on racing truly amaze me!!!! Most of them have never turned a lap or built a car. They also seem to be blessed with 20/20 hindsight and are experts at the would-of, could-of, should-of game!!! I've been around racing since I was about 9 years old racing a kart. Did my first 3 years of circle-burnin' using my step-brothers draft card for ID cuz I wasn't old enough to race. When some lame-brain with a degree in journalism starts lambasting what the owners, engineers, crew chiefs, and drivers do during the course of an event to me it is always glaringly obvious that have never "been there, done that" and dealt with the pressures and emotions of goin' fast in a crowd of people!!!! It's also very easy to point out others mistakes when you watch the replay in slow motion a half dozen times!!!!

For some of us, racing and Hot Rodding is more then something to do on weekends, it's a way of life!!!! We do tend to occasionally get in a bit of a tiff when some no-nothing college boy tells us how things should be!

.....and with that I'll pass my soapbox on to the next man with a rant!!!!
