Say what you want, the guy changed the way America looked at rock & roll back in the early 60's and beyond. He made himself an icon in the music industry.
I remember seeing it on tv when I was 7/8 years old....man what a ride he had.....
The ball has dropped for the last time. We didn't have much to watch on TV back then. Always had time for American Bandstand. Thanks for the memories Dick. RIP.
The end of an Era and what a Legacy he left !
He brought Rock n Roll into our living rooms and I, for one,
needed something to identify with at that time in my life.

RIP Dick. 82 years is a good run. He certainly looked good for his age.
