We're all young here!
Somewhere along the line in America folks started thinking that people become "obsolete" between 55 and 60.. I say "nonsense" to that! I'm going to peak when I'm 85 so I figure my best years are yet to come. Richard (along with some others - but hey, this is TECH's thread..) has certainly been an encouragement to me as he's got me by a few years and it's obvious that his mind is sharp and he continues to educate and push himself.
So I say 60 is the new 40 and 70 is the new 50 - right guys? (and Barb too!!)...
Regards All
Glenn (in my 60's and still young!!)
Good to see your back. 70 is only a state of mind. since I only have 3 years to go
Thanks,Tech..Should have known it would be either John Mummert,or Tim Mcmaster..:D Will save that, and a few other bits and pieces I have rooted out..
Jerry..Thank you..I have a 1960 292 that was originally in my F100,which needs a total rebuild..Saving it for a pet project,,want to build it up at a later date, and get some compression up its tailbone for a period built roadster.. Pretty much the same style as the cover of Hot Rod mag,,March(?)1959.. Sorry, cant find pic,but its kwite kool...:D:D
Good to see you back Richard. I haven't been around as much myself lately. The sign business has kept me away from the "Z" (no it's not done yet).
I may be a youthful 59 but I seem to run out of gas by the end of the day, so the "Z" & other hobby stuff gets put on the back burner.
I think about you whenever I here of an event at Firebird. My Sister still lives in Gilbert, so who knows, maybe I'll still get there for a lap or 2.
