Heard these guys on the radio being interviewed this weekend while driving to work. The lead singer is 23. Their first album was such a hit, before they knew it they were on a world tour. They said it was unbelieveable, 4 days of radio and media publicity. I think they were overwhelmed. The singer's voice reminds me a bit of Aretha Franklin. The band is called Alabama Shakes, here is a link to Letterman's show with them playing a song. They look a bit nervous!
