i am using the 27 as a daily driver.
it has been averaging 17f each morning.
but some of us will sacrifice comfort for style.

actually when it warms up in the afternoon it is really nice.
but those mornings?

i have a heatercraft 28,000 BTU heater i am gonna stick in it.
i put the same heater in my willys jeep and was able to crack the window so i could smoke at -30f

yeah they really kick butt.

And then take the cardboard and put in where the window will go!!!! Maybe cut a little hole in it first.....Aw fogedaboudit! Be sure to wear earmuffs!!!

Hope ya got one of those fur lined trapper caps, the one's with the ear flaps. You got to be alot younger than me. It's in the mid 50's in my garage right now and I got 2 shirts on and a hoodie.................. Ok I'm a puss...............

update
i put some plexiglass in the doors and installed a 28000 BTU heatercraft heater.
it gets HOT in that cab.
i dont even need to seal up all the holes in the firewall.....

I plan to commute with my hotrod when it's done.. With a 503-514" ( not built yet, have a stock 460 needing rebuild ) BBF, I'm not sure how much I'll afford to drive it.

When I "finished" the 1st build with the 3 window I used it as a daily driver ,work and pleasure. In 4+ years I put about 50,000 miles on it. When I moved to WA. ST. I drove it just for pleasure. When I get it far enough along on the rebuild to put it on the road since I have been retired for some time now I plan to put as many miles on it as I can. Would like to hit as many shows, tours, and take as many cross country road trips as I can.

one nice thing about all these short trips with a newly finished car is.
if something is going to break,poopout or just not be up to snuff.
i'd rather have it happen 10 miles from the house than 500

Now that you mention it, I was driving the 34 to work one day, gently let out the clutch when the light turned green, felt a pop and the coupe's rear made a sharp move the the right. My weld on one of the rear locating arms broke. I was able to continue driving it to the nearest phone, (talk about a side winder)and called for a tow. Talk about lucky, I was at Fremont Drag strip a couple weeks before for grudge night and am lucky it didn't happen then. One of the many reasons for this rebuild was to grind off any bad looking welds and redo with the tig welder.
