To get around that - just look at your personal grocery getter - that engine takes a dump, the fuel system shuts off. A race car system shouldn't be any harder then an inertia switch for heavy hits, a full fuel system shut down to reset the computer and the restart - and can be done with a momentary switch. Cars in Europe - if you 'miss' a start or stall the engine you have to go back to the switch and centered/off then start the procedure all over again - and they have been doing that since the early '90s - and it is a PITA if you are unfamiliar with that procedureDave W
