On my 37 I mounted it on to the kick plate on the left hand side. Doing that made me put my emergency brake in the center floorboard since I have a colum mount shifting lever. I made a hideway box that has a cover that you can open to get to the fuses. The door is closed with a magnet on one side. Works great for me.
