 as some of you know.
i recently moved to new mexico.
yesterday i went in search of a flaps.(friendly local auto parts store)
 i wanted some speed bleeders.
i went to the usual places autozone/checker and then found a napa
this napa is what i dreamed of when i lived in durango.
it is a warehouse sized building with hardly anything for sale out front.
and six guys at computers and a huge bank of PAPER REFERENCE BOOKS on racks behind them.
they can and will find anything in those books.
i have never seen that many parts in stock on a shelf.
i think i'm in flaps love.

 p.s.
farmington also is the home to the states largest junkyard
and they DO let you wander around looking for stuffa hot rod is whatever i decide it is.

The parts store here is owned by an X stockcar driver..He knows what hes talking about and still has his catalogs from the 60s for referance. If he dosen't have the parts he has them the next morning. those places are hard to findCharlie
Lovin' what I do and doing what I love

Farmington has some nasty off-road trails - lots of big vertical shelfs and challenging trails for heavily modified 4x4 Jeeps & buggies. There's a couple of really good 4x4 clubs in the area, too.Roger
Enjoy the little things in life, and you may look back one day and realize that they were really the BIG things.
