Anyone know where he is He used to be on here a lot
Toward the end Brian was getting a little burned out on the whole forum thing. Nothing against CHR, he just had done it too long and the fun had worn off a little for him, from what I gathered.
He is now doing model trains or something like that, I think, and I wish he would stop back because he was a good member and knew his stuff, plus I liked him as a person.
Don
Thanks Don
Thanks for the update Don, I've wondered from time to time how he's doing. He was a great asset to the forum
It's hard to hide in an internet world. He got BIG into miniature steam engines, and apparently still is, and related stuff. Looks like he's still doing the computer modeling and lots of instruction.........same guy, different play field.:) Here's a thread he posted a few days ago: Overcrank Single cylinder engine - The Home Shop Machinist & Machinist's Workshop Magazine's BBS
He was. I don't think he even posts much, if at all, on the HAMB anymore. At least I haven't seen any recent posts if he has. Maybe if someone on here knows him they can pass along that we were asking and see if he can let us know how he is these days.
Don
I posted over on HSM for him to drop by, if he has time of course. He seems very busy with his newest steam engine design/build.
Keith
You can contact him through CHR using his email I did yesterday. He says he still drives his hotrod as a daily driver.
Bob thanks for the link that steam engine is pretty cool. Must be nice to fabricate using cad programs, and personal knowledge! Hope the Canadian summer has been favorable for him!
