If your a car nut and have to live in NYC.
I don't think this will surprise any of the world travelers among you, but parking in the large cities is getting to be a pricey thing. This does promote the use of public transit, which is a good thing, but what about the car lover? Today in NYC, if your lucky enough to find a parking space for sale within two blocks of your high rise, then paying the $100,000 for the spot might not hurt near as much as always lugging your stuff two blocks to and from the car.
There is a new high rise condo in Chelsea (NYC) that is addressing this problem and they call it "En Suite Sky Garage". I think you get the idea, on whatever floor you live on, you have an attached garage that you access via elevator. On street level, when you pull into the elevator, the elevator recognizes your car and takes you and your car to your garage. A pretty good deal for $11 to $18 mil. And no more lugging groceries two blocks.
