Wow that was scarry. It looked like they couldn't get him out for awhile, with all those flames I'd have thought he'd be burned pretty bad!

One thought after watching this. Why in the hell do these saturday night tracks not do at least a little bit of safety tech. Bet ya a coke that car had a plastic fuel tank sold as a fuel cell with no rollover valve. Been burnin circles since 1972 and other than the midget and my kids 1/4 midget ,I can only remember going thru tech 1 time with a UMP modified @ the Duqioun mile and even then nothing safety was checked, but they sure made sure that I fixed that 1/4 inch too long wheel base on the right side.

This happened to me last year when I put up a link to a Kiwis in the US series on tv down here...No one in the States could view it because of copyright,,and I couldnt get it onto the computer before it was taken off TVNZs archives,,and the people who made it wouldnt tell me if it was gunna become available as a DVD,or not..P***ed off a few people ,unfortunately..

Barnsey, the new link worked. Wow what a fireball. It said he had burns to his face and hands but was released later theat day from the hospital, so hopefully the burns were minor. Thank god for the new technology safety gear!
