Just watched a People's Court on TV.Kind of might have sounded like it was a member from here.Guy in VC has a friend that needs a windshield that is visiting him in VC and is shipping a van back to NZ.So as not to have the costs of shipping the windshield he puts the purchased windshield in the van.Gets back to NZ and some months go by until he tries to install the windshield to find it is the wrong one.The part number is 519.The guy in VC tries to sue the windshield company for now the shipping costs of $1,200 on what is a $80.00 part.

Here is some info that came out of this.Seems there are two national number systems to look up the part. And a Belair 55 is different than the other 55 Chevys.

Guy in VC loses the case by not providing that fact it was a Belair. Also the windshield company is not responsible for shipping after a sold part.

Anyone from here??.
