Well I don't know what there going to do with me other than cremation.. As I won't have a need for this old beat up body anymore
I have told the wife to let the doc's harvest everything they can use & then cremate me.
Then when they have the funeral party to make sure they serve chili.
This is where it gets good, I told her after everyone has eaten to announce.........
"Remember when Joe said EAT ME" :D   ....joe
hahaha, that was a hoot toomany2count. im steelin that one. when i go i dont much care what is done with my carcus.they can have what they want and feed me to the buzzards.it aint gona matter to me.i'll proly get burnt and scattered somewhere .its cheaper and i allways like that part.
Cremation seems the best route for me too. Don't want any viewing with the body, that always made me feel pretty creepy, just a gathering and a few words, followed by a good party I hope. Wouldn't mind being sprinkled in the Sierras with the dogs ashes.
Like my dad always said, After I die, throw me in the gutter and let the street sweeper sweep me up. What the he!! do I care.
Cremation for me and then pour my ashes somewhere. Then have a party. Celibrate the fact that I am not here anymore to piss people off.
I'm with Joe. If they can re-cycle anything I have I hope they'll go for it.
I'd better tell whoever collects my stuff that my kidneys are prone to get stones
(that's stones .... not stoned) and my heart skips a thump now and then, and my eyes already have cataract implants.
But on the plus side I haven't smoked in thirty years and to my knowledge my liver still does whatever it is that livers are supposed to do.
So have at it, guys.
I have told my wife that I have no objection to donation of whatever is left to a medical school to use as they please, as long as they promise not to laugh.
I will sign an authorization to have my body cremated unless she requests otherwise. She's somehow uncomfortable with the idea.
It would be an honor to be able to help somebody in desperate need when I move on.

Recently there was a thread on here (that got closed because it was an ad, I guess) by a kid who with his Dad were thinking of making urns in the shape of our cars. I thought that was a cool idea. :)

I'm spendin' all my time figurin' out ways to wear it out. It's up to her to decide what to do with what's left.
A guy pretty well known to Texas drag racing died recently. He was cremated as he had wished.
The people who made his arrangements offered him a selection of urns to hold his ashes. He told them he knew what he wanted and that he would make it himself.
At his funeral service his ashes were presented in a container made by welding two early Chrysler valve covers together and chromed and polished.
No kidding!

My ex-wife said she intended to dance on my grave..............................so I wrote instructions to be cremated and scatter my ashes at sea!
The GOOD wife (the current one), has instructions to send my ashes and a memory stick of my photo file to Ft. Myers, FL..................
I've registered as an organ donor, it states this on my driver's license in case I go in an auto accident, some organs have to be retrieved quickly. I chose to be a donor because I'm hoping that when my spirit leaves this earth that part of me will help keep another's spirit here a little longer. My wife, son and daughter have instructions to have my remains cremated with a portion of the ashes placed on my father and mother's graves. They brought me into this world, I'd like to be with them again when I leave this world.
BTW, stinky, what size tip is that spray gun going to need? :D
Mike
I'm also listed as an organ donor, but I keep wondering what good my "old" parts are going to be to anyone at my age. I once thought of allowing my body to be used for medical research, but something I witnessed a number of years ago turned me off that plan.
I was working in a nearby University, and the office I was in overlooked one of the medical research labs where young doctors are trained. I happened to be looking out the window one day and observed a medical student chasing one of the female students with the severed hand of a cadaver which he was manipulating by pulling the tendons. I never quite felt the same about donating my body parts for research.:D
I told my wife I wanted to be stuffed and placed in an armchair in the shop! I wonder if she'll follow through with it? :D

Wife and I agreed that when I hit that crossroad....what ever is left that is good that they can use.....to donate to the needy.....and the rest to be cremated and have my ashes thrown out of the hotrod on the highway at 80mph.....I want to ride like the wind.:LOL::LOL::LOL:
