Anybody got news from the Glen??.
nope raining
Yeah Charlie,I did a search and found a two hr rain delay.
POSTPONED UNTIL 10:00 mONDAY
Yeah it rained really hard here in Roch.Flash flood warnings all over the place.
So far my side of NY State, about 30 seconds of drizzle with the sun in and out all day. The weather service says it's coming - but ..............
How does NASCAR handle a rain out for people have tickets and who can't come on Monday because of work??.
to bad for them
That is racing..........................but a expensive loss.
Soooooooooo I caught the tail end of the results on my local rabbit ears TV.Who won??.Looked like a nasty crash on the end.Man these delays has to reek havoc on the teams getting ready for the next race.
The Taz Man won it, his first NASCAR win!!!! Congrats to Marcos Ambrose on the win!!!
CAUTION: Our down under friends may be a bit tough to live with now that one of their countryman came over here and whooped up on the best of the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek:
From what I heard WE whoopped up on ourselves
I bet Ambrose was a little cautious about turning his engine off to save fuel this year after his last race at the glen when he couldn't re fire the car and lost the race because of it.
congrats Marcus on a well deserved win.
barnsey
It looked like Biffle (David) was trying to attack a mountain when he took Said (Goliath) on.
That was probably the meanest crash so far this year. Both Ragan and Reutimann appeared to still having their bells ringing when interviewed. Luckily neither were injured beyond probable 'racers rheumatism' for the next few days. If nothing else, it shows the current cars are about as safe as possible.
I second that...I saw the last lap or so,,it was posted on facebook,,saw a bit of pushing and shoving going on,and Ambrose come through to the front,,yippee..Good win,Marcos..I was hoping he would do well,as he has plenty of experience with road race type circuits..
Nah,Dave S...We wont shout TOOOO LOUD about the win..:LOL:I bet Busch was a bit p***ed about being beaten by him though..:D..Congrats to Marcos..
Kyle just didn't have the right setup to challenge for the one----another 30 or so races and he might have 1/10 the miles on a road course that Ambrose does!!!!! Good to see him win, this has really been the year for first time winners, and the new points system is going to make The Chase very interesting!!!!
