    stain less is a pain in the butt you will have to step sand it to smooth .. till no deep or any marks can be seen at all .it will look cloudy shine with no corse or any marks can be seen after step sanding. when done then buff to shine . i woud think it a brush finsh so you just need to put the brush marks the right way .by using a block with a red 3m pad and working back to a gray 3 pad you need working a grain up like cffisher said. we had to do set of rims for GM concept show truck each spoke had a grain and had to be dead strait this is were a hand made block or sanding block helps
