Finding an honest & dependable Auto Transport Co.
Does anyone here have the secret formula for finding a reputable Auto Transport Company that aren't scammers? I don't think it would be wise to post any actual names here on this thread so PM me, if you have a particular Company in mind, either pro or con.
Any advice or comments will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Meller.

Meller, people on the hamb speak highly of a guy named BenD on there. Lots of people have used him and said very good things. You might go on there and do a search under transporting cars.

Sounds like a ''pack the bag and hitch north, and do a road trip'''jobbie to me..But I suppose its safer to get it transported nowadays..Micah 6:8

Thanks Don !
Robin, 20 years ago I would have flown up there and driven it back (stock 3 on tree, no AC and all)
but those 'daze' are long gone now - - - especially with my back probs..

Hahahaha, don't tempt me, Mego, or you might just get a plane ticket in the mail.
I have a buddy and also my son that have offered to meet my Minnesota friend halfway
in KC with their truck and trailer but we can't seem to get it scheduled because of work,
doctors visits or personal plans.
Sure hope I can find me a dependable car hauler and get that baby down here SOOOOOON.

You want an enclosed carrier, then I highly suggest one of the following (in random order)
Intercity auto transport, passport auto transport, or Horseless Carriage.
Open trailer, I suggest DAS auto transport.

Thanks Bill, however it looks like I'll be making a road trip and bringing it back with the help of a friend because I'm not going to pay all the money up front and then trust "Anyone" to get back with me for a pickup schedule in 7 working days. Just ain't gonna happen. I do appreciate all the info and comments.

Oh how I wish, Mego. I have a Car buddy that has offered to take his surburban and trailer and my youngest son has offered to take his Dodge and trailer but if I can get it hauled professionally then my back might survive this "LAST" Hot Rod Project. If I were younger and still had my extended cab Chevy then we would go to MinnieSottie and "git'er done"..

I saw last night on fb about John. The world sure lost a great one. I'm going to miss his humor, advice, and perspective from another portion of the world. Rest in Peace Johnboy.
