Ten wounded in car show shooting | News.com.au

TEN people have been wounded in a shooting at a car show in Kent, Washington State, The Seattle Times reported.
The incident occurred in the parking lot of the La Plaza shopping centre where about 50 low-rider cars were on display.

No one was apprehended following the gunfire, which was reported about 4.15pm local time, and it was unknown if there was more than one shooter.

One witness told KOMO-TV that the shooting began when a fight broke out after a comment was made about the paint job on one car, but police would not confirm the report.

Another witness saw a gunman standing in front of the shopping centre firing across the parking lot and saw people fall to the ground.

Kent Fire Department spokesman Kyle Ohashi said the shooting victims were taken to a local hospital and some had managed to drive themselves to seek treatment.

There were 200 to 300 people at the car show, a couple miles south of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, when the shooting broke out.
