Syracuse Nationals
Anyone go the the Syracuse nationals? Besides being to hot to enjoy, it's got so big that it's impossible to look at all the cars and trucks. Spent 3 hrs. just at the vendors with me buying some tools. Even though I've gone to this show since it began, I think it will be my last one as it's just to big to enjoy:(

Well I answer my own question.Oh man-I snoozed on that one.

I usually will just drive up for the day on Saturday though I had attended most including the first 3-4 of them either with another car or the swap meet, decided not to this year. One of their honchos even approached me at a cruise in this past Monday and spent some time trying to convince me. That very large fairgrounds on a 95 degree day is just no fun with the cars parked in almost every corner. Maybe next year:D

I went as usual. Was hoping to find a steering column that I could use in the swap meet but came out empty handed. Went to Speedway and didn't find anything. It was hot, and I would have pre registered/ taken the Beetle if I could have trusted it that far, just for a vehicle to hold cold drinks and drive around with, rather than walk to the diffrent sections. covered probably 95%, just didn't check out all of the car corral, but I usually don't... Going home, I took 695 down to Auburn and took the scenic route home. Stopped at the thrift store on the main drag in Auburn, which every time I go in there ( my dad lives in the area ), they have a good selection of records and electronics. ended up buying a few records, and an old HP Pavilion desktop for $6. Records play great, and the computer is now my new internet server for my verizon mobile broadband. old computer crapped out a month ago, and I had been borrowing my laptop to do the job. It seems to have bad sectors in the hard drive but running a very small partition for windows, I managed to get it going
