Sorry Em, guess I haven't checked my email in awhile...
Anyway, girls are doing very well. Lisha still loves school, she's disappointed on days she doesn't get to go! She's made many friends and is having a lot fun. They go to the park or some other "field trip" at least once a week, visiting the Fire Station was her favorite! Best part of her recovery, it's been better then a month since she's had one of her nightmares! Lexi, maybe because she's younger, seems to be doing even better getting over the ordeal. She loves to "help" do things around the house, right now she's helping Grandma with some laundry! Lucky Grandma, huh? She thinks of herself as a gymnast of some sort and wants to climb on everything! Amazing the way she has changed from a timid, scared little girl to the fun loving, energetic and playful little girl she is now. She has this silly little grin that I call her "warning grin"---It means I'm going to do something I shouldn't and you're not going to like it!!!! Then she does it anyway! When we tell her no, she runs to us laughing with her arms open to give some hugs....and then we're supposed to scold her???? She doesn't have everyone fooled, but she sure has Grandpa wrapped around her little finger!!!!
They did have their first State Supervised visitation with their mother and got through that very well... Prior to the visit, we told Lisha about it, her only concern was that she was coming home to "Grandma's House" afterwards and would be safe!!!! She asked about it 3 or 4 times, guess she had to make sure! The visitation was only 2 hours and there was a state rep. in the room at all times, for the most part Lexi treated it as just another play room with lots of different toys and didn't really care if her mom was there or not... Lisha was polite, sat with her mom and played a little. Both were very glad to get back home afterwards as I'm sure it's the only safety and security they've known. Neither had anything to say about it the next day, just went back to their usual routine.
What an amazing change in the two of them since we brought them home! They still have lots of healing to do, but they're going to get through it just fine!!!
Thanks everyone for your prayers and concern.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thanks for the reply, Dave (er uh Grandpa) - - - all my prayers have been answered, Praise the Lord, and it appears that He's watching over Y'all every minute. I know it sounds weird but I pray for their Mom also and that she will grow Spiritually and "never" do anything to hurt these girls again. Maybe someday Lisha and Lexi can actually be proud of her and learn to love her in their own ways - -- - time and faith are wonderful healers and life can be a wonderful teacher !

Like everyone else, I too am so happy to hear of the progress with the girls! Also like Em, I pray for mom as God's touch is what she needs to get her life in order and we all know God's in the miracle business!
Blessings on you and the misses Dave - as my tears came in your sorrow and time of great trial, so my heart rejoices with you for all this good news. You, sir have earned a few jewels for the eternal crown!
My greatest respect and warmest regards to "all" your family!

I, too, am happy to hear that things are going so well. There is not a day goes by that I don't think of you folks and those babies.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.

Thanks for the concern!!! The girls are progressing quite well!!!! Both are a bit behind their peers in development but they both have excellent teachers and counselors to help them get caught up. Lisha is still participating in a Head Start program 4 days a week (she love's it), and Lexi has a lady who spends a couple hours with her two days a week.
Both girls are still gaining a bit of weight, we still have to watch their diet and follow the Doctor's advise so they will continue to gain strength. Lexi is younger and seems to have forgotten most of the bad stuff, Lisha still has some issues, but is improving all the time. At least no more nightmares for her!!!!
I'll have to get some more recent pictures of them and post them up!
Again, thank you all for your concern and your prayers!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Good to hear Dave." "No matter where you go, there you are!" Steve.
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
