Thread: Some prayers, please

I have been gone for quite a while and this is the first thread I read. As a pastor, I have seen or heard a lot of stories like this and you never get used to it, nor should you. I am so thankful to God that you were able to step in and take care of those girls. You mentioned that their healing is going to take a while and that is true. I don't remember if you mentioned it, but if they are not in counseling, they need to be. If they are not and you don't know where to begin, check with your pastor or srs and they will point you in the right direction. God bless you for all that you have done, are doing and will do for those girls.

You know Dave, this is something that really bugs me. Why don't parents let kids have a pet? I always had a dog or two around when I was growing up and even though I sneeze around cats, I still play with the neighbor's big orange tom when it is out prowling. Family pets help people not only psychologically, but physically as well. Kids need pets. Sure there are circumstances that prevent a dog or cat, but a goldfish? Heck, it wasn't that long ago somebody made big moneys selling digital key chain pets. Kids and pets both deserve a good home and it should be together. It seems like the girls and Pepper are supposed to be with each other thanks for what you have done.

Today was a preliminary hearing for custody....we won! AJ (my son, the girl's Dad) was awarded temporary custody---prior to this hearing the Mother (I use that term loosely) had custody and they were here on a visitation. Also today, the opposing attorney filed a motion to withdraw from the case!!!! Thought that was kind of a laugher, pretty bad when your own attorney wants to quit!!!! Judge Tucker said he would have to "review" that motion and the other attorney was stuck with his client until the next custody hearing on the 15th...
I compare the day to drag racing (of course)----we didn't win yet, but so far the competition drew a big red light in the first round, and we're advancing to the 2nd round!!!!
Finally got the two of them to sit still for a minute, not the world's best photographer, but I got a pic of them anyway!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Wow congrats Dave! Monique is going to make them each a stuff toy, and we have a few other goodies they might enjoy. Thank you so much for sharing this personal story. I've been having a tough time at work recently, but this just puts all the small stuff in perspective, and seeing their beautiful smiling faces, I know you've made a tremendous positive impact in their lives!" Nice to see their faces.
There was an accident on interstate 90 a few miles from us at 4am with 6 children and a their mother in a vehicle. They hit a bridge enbankment and rolled the vehicle. 5 Ambulances. 3 air lifted to the hospital. I hope they are ok.

Wow.
I just read through the whole thread and am in shock and also mesmorized at the same time..
I can't comment too much on the ''LOVE MOMMY'' on the cast. It appears as a wrapped and signed gift or something....
The good thing is ''Mommy'' can't go around giving any more gifts like that now that you have custody.
I am so pleased to see the outcome of the hearing.
You are doing a wonderful thing with these two adorable little children.
Hopefully everything keeps progressing smoothly.
As for their future, I know I cannot remember a thing from the age those kids are now.
Hopefully they will not remember either.Last edited by 123pugsy; 08-02-2011 at 03:35 PM.

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
