If we are at our oldest son's place, the game of choice above any other is Rugby. In high school, he played football (American style) all four years, linebacker; but in college, he was not big enough to make the team, so he took up Rugby, and nothing has been the same since. I watch once in a while if I trip over a game on the telly, but I still have a bit of a time figuring out just what the play is. If I had gotten close to it when I was a pup, I probably would have liked it, too, as I sort of had that Rugby attitude.
On another note: Inglewood. I was born in Inglewood - California, that is. Nowadays, it is called "South Central L. A.", a pretty un-nice section of the city. But in 1942, it was "lily white", the up and coming suburban bedroom community. My how things change.Rrumbler, Aka: Hey you, "Old School", Hairy, and other unsavory monickers.
Twistin' and bangin' on stuff for about sixty or so years; beat up and busted, but not entirely dead - yet.
