Very witty. A friend of mine who works at a local welding supply & gas shop, has a beautiful original built (I think 32 roadster) that was made by someone famous around here. He found it beat up and restored it. The original guy who made it, spoted it and told him about the history of the car. While the welding shop guy was out on a road trip, his now ex-wife, had all of his stuff appraised, moved him out in boxes, and submitted a divorce settlement for half of everything he owns, meanwhile moved her boyfriend into this guys' house. I noticed a for sale sign on the roadster and asked what was up when he told me the story of what happened. He said the sale of the car was written into the divorce agreement. I told him, he should sell it to a friend for a few hundred bucks, settle the tab, and then buy it back later on. He said, the reason she had everything appraised was to prevent him from doing that. So it has to be sold for what she had it appraised for which is about 10k more than it's worth. So it just sits in a garage, unused, waiting for a sale that will never happen. He loved the car, so this is how she decided to punish him. Lawyers and ex wives make a mean bunch!
It's always amazed me how two people who shared lots of good times and were very close and intimate at one time can end up so hateful of each other in the end.:confused: Everyone starts off deciding to just part peacefully, but then, as Steve said, Lawyers and friends get involved and it all goes to hell.
Life with a couple of cats is SO much easier. :LOL::LOL:

Lawyers and ex-wives should marry each other and lock their own horns! They are a spawn of the Devil conceived in the bowels of Hell!
of course it's just my opinion, what do I know?
Marriage is like a card game...you start with two hearts and, at the end, you are looking for a club and a spade.
A recent survey determined that marriage is the leading cause of divorce!!!!
In a recent ad in Craigslist there was a ad for tools and a standard email addy to reply.The next day there was a ad placed copying the tools addy saying anyone buying those tools would be prosecuted for possession of stolen tools because it was being sold by a Ex illegally.
Yepper-I reported both of them as being placed in the wrong section.OMG people showing their dirty laundry in the tools section.I also placed a ad saying that wasn't appropriate and maybe they should consider getting a room somewhere to work it out.LOL
Lawers and EXs ".....They are a spawn of the Devil conceived in the bowels of Hell!......"
How sadly true :rolleyes::LOL::LOL:
I'd never goten a divorce had I married my second wife first:3dSMILE: Older and wiser now
I am a very lucky guy in one sense then as my wife and I worked out our separation settlement between the two of us at home friendly across the table and then went to my lawyer who read through it and keep asking if we really wanted a divorce. As he couldn't represent both of us,he send my wife to another lawyer across the street and as we had covered everything except the car,it was all signed and sealed in short time. Oh she referred to the project out in the garage as that pile of shit of no value so I didn't have to give her half of the $20,000 it own us.
It is sad when the only winners in a divorce is the f...king lawyers.:(
come on guys. what would you do without us wives.:HMMM::D
