Ultimate auto emergency tool kit - what do you have?

After looking at tools sales and chatting with Gary and Charlie today, I realized that there doesn't seem to be an ultimate travel tool kit. Something that would cover flats, jumps, first aid, duct tape, assortment of wrenches and drivers, pliers, some baling wire, flares, etc. We've got like three kits in the truck and highlander to cover most of the above, but I think someone could make a killing putting together a more comprehensive emergency kit.
I'll start out with a few nice partial kits, but please add what you think would or should be in a car for emergency repairs, and first aid. This target kit caught my eye because it has things like clamps, cables flashlight, and an assortment of tools. Edmonds also had a nice list of stuff to put one together yourself here.

Apollo Travel/ Auto Kit - Red (64 Pc) : Target

One of those $5 voltage testers is invaluable for finding electrical problems while on the road, as are spare fuses, small bulbs, and some wire and terminal ends/butt connectors.

My 23 had a nice storage area under the passenger seat and I put some of my older tools in there. It saved me a few times when we were far from home and something stopped working.

Unfortunately, my 27 doesn't even have a place to put a screwdriver.

Yea dang, I see alot of things I should have, Thanx Stovens for the link. Like you Itoldyaso I am also limited by space all I have is a red huggies box, but has helped me out, the only failure to date is the gasket between the water pump and block, and yea on the hottest day of the year., and to complicate everything all hardware is allenhead where applicable.I had all on board except 1/2 wrench, go figure.

oh, went back to check post, and noticed the flashlight in Itys post, Is that a LED light? I finally splurged and got one, TALK ABOUT BRIGHT!

i have built in a storage compartment in the bed of the 27 p/u.
and i will put the same kind of stuff i have in the willys
bottle jack
snatch strap
1st aid
wire/tape/fuses/bulbs/flares/flashlights/bic lighters/cans of fix-a-flat
sockets/wrenches/folding tire iron.
and since i live in colorado where it is legal.
a .357 mag snubnose under the seat.

Yep, it is an LED. I added it after I ran out of gas one night and had to use the light from my cell phone to peer into the tank.:o

Seems like similar stuff to what I have thought of, except for the crimper and wire connectors, and the circuit checker, good small items to include Don. In my 4x4 we have 4x4 blocks of wood and a hydrolic jack, and in the sport ute we have the earthquake kit(emergency food, water, stove,.... they have these great food bars the coast guard uses that are a three day survival amount for one person in each foil pack, that can take extreme heat and cold, and still be good for 5 years, so we have a few of those in there too(they are only like 3 bucks a pop) 4 bars =6days of food for two of us. The gun idea would get us in deep dodo, but not a bad thing either if it's legal in your state.
