This thing is kinda embarassing (well, not as embarassing as watching a murder trial with two cats, but..............) makes ya confront how much of the day gets lost.

I usually start the day at 5a.m. with about a quart of coffee, and some computer time. Yesterday did some pruning and underbrush cleanup, filled a couple 96 gallon toters for the green recycle pickup. Blew off the tree droppings from the driveway. Made another new young rodder friend when a lad from British Columbia drove down to buy one of the Ford transverse spring I've got advertised. He's in the learning phase. He originally emailed that he wanted what a buddy told him was a "high arch '40 spring". I told I'd never heard of such a thing, but I had a '40 among others, and asked if he could describe what he was doing. Instead he just said he'd drive down! (roughly 125 miles one way) So I'd dug out the '40 spring, when he got there and we started the 20 questions thing. When he got to mentioning he was using a Model A rear cross member I then understood where the "high arch" thing came from. Fortunately for him I also had an extra Model A spring so he hadn't wasted the trip. Then it was get cleaned up again and head off to a high school graduation party for the son of a good friend. Finished out the day with some more computer time getting caught up on race results, emails, and craigslist shopping for poorly advertised "deals".
