    God Bless the Midwest !

They got it again yesterday and last night.
EL RENO, Okla. – Violent storms that swept through a chunk of the central U.S. killed at least 13 people in three states, while toppling trees, crushing cars and ripping apart a rural Arkansas fire station.

The high-powered storms arrived Tuesday night and early Wednesday, just days after a massive tornado tore up the southwest Missouri city of Joplin and killed 122 people. The latest storms killed eight people in Oklahoma, two in Kansas and three more in Arkansas, before petering out.

Most of the Oklahoma fatalities occurred in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. Cherokee Ballard, a spokeswoman for the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's office, said early Wednesday that the storms killed five people in Canadian County, two in Logan County and one in Grady County.

Thoughts and Prayers to all who were effected by this tragedy,

Yep,I saw on ABC and CNN this morning,[just about a half hour ago],the devastation in Joplin again, and to hear of more death and destruction with more tornadoes,it must be wearing a whole lot of people down to breaking point..Our prayers surely go out to everyone up there..

My thoughts go out to those people as well. Those areas are know somewhat as tornado alley. If I had lost everything,I would sign up for relief, grab whatever I could and give serious thought if the rest of the time living there was really worth it.I was vending in Rogers Ohio and a small funnel cloud came threw it in the middle of the day.Was real scarily.Tore up lots of stuff.I was told that is in part tornado alley.Makes you feel so helpless.

We had a scare today with a line of storms forming SW of KC, and several funnel clouds reported before one touched down over by Sedalia, MO and tore up some mobile homes, a gas station and over turned a bunch of semi trucks. I had gone into town with my grandson for a run to Costco and everything calm. While in the store the storm sirens went off and I overheard the Costco 2-way radios saying that a nearby mall was in "lockdown", and that their other store east of us was gathering customers in their designated storm area. We finished checking out, asked a Costco guy about the storm location, got in the Jeep and headed due west as quickly as we could. We were fine, but having a grandkid with you takes the concern to another level.

I live in north Alabama and we went thru all the storms, my sons house
was missed by a 1/2 mile by the EF5 that hit Lawrece county.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all those in the midwest, I do know
what you are going thru, GOD BLESS each and everyone of you.
