Money - who has any and that was evidenced at Dover, a track that was always full or close too - it might have had 50-60% of the seats occupied. I'm within four+/- hours of Pocono, New Hampshire and Watkins Glen and really can't afford a night, food plus a race. I stayed in a Hampton at Hazleton, PA the night before the Pocono Weekend started - my room went from about ~$90/night to over $200 - and that's 50 miles away. Kinda hoping we would be in VA this year as where we are looking is only 25 miles from Martinsville, 100 from Bristol.

If I could make one race this year involving NASCAR drivers, it would be to Eldora Speedway when old Smoke invites all his NASCAR buddies over to race late models in his big charity race!!! I always catch it on TV, bet it would be a blast to be there in person!!!

As long as Ray Evernham and Red Farmer don't "waste" two spots in the starting line up. Great guys - but too far out of the actual driving part.

Yep, I watch it as well - and they are hangin' tough for glory as there isn't any money or points for them
