Here in Phoenix you don't even need to go fishing,just go to Lam's Market on 67th ave. & Indian School and pick out the one you want in the big fish tank and the butchers can fix it up for you on the spot.For several years the U.S. catfish record was one caught in Lake Pleasant,AZ.Quote:

Couple years back a boy caught a 35# cat by the dam I know they ate well for awhile

Back many many years ago I was a member of a bass club and once a year we would have a (bass) fish fry. They would make a batter using butter milk, mustard, and tabasco. It was awesome! I have never been able to recreate it.
