No rescue places around here - not even an SPCA close by. I did manage to get a pretty decent picture of her under the porch and it sure looks like she has been licking the wound. I am amazed that there isn't any more blood on the white part of her leg so maybe it isn't as vital as I was afraid of. If she would only let me doctor her, I think that yeller spray stuff that we always used on horses and livestock might do the trick.

Just one last thing I was thinking, in case you decide to keep her, and she wants to stay. If someone spots her, stops, and comes to the door saying that's his dog...Just tell him, yeah, well, she said she left you because you were mean to her, and doesn't want any part of you anymore.
ps: I was thinking like shine. Sneak some meds into a treat. The vet should at least be able to fix you up with some pills.

Good idea,even try to get some tranquilizers into her food,so you can take her to the vet..She looks like she will stay around..Nice looking dog..
