My condolences and prayers to you, Whip, and to all the others who lost family, friends and loved ones in this tragedy. I was hoping it would turn out better for you.
Our deepest condolences Whip to you and your extended family.
Your all in our prayers tonight.

Emmett, the "good old USA" had help on the ground here virtually within hours of the quake.
And that is truly appreciated.
And you weren't alone in giving us the help and assistance we needed so desperately.
Dedicated professional Search and Rescue teams came from all over the world; Japan, China, Mexico, the UK, Australia, to name but a few.
I seem to remember someone saying that seventeen different countries came to our aid in a practical way...and within days.
Sorta humbling, and I can only repeat that it's truly appreciated.
Whip, it's a bugger, and I know there's nothing I can do or say to heal the wounds.
But my heart and thoughts are with you mate.
We know how you feel about other countries offering help and support. After our own 9-11 attack it was very comforting to receive support from people around the world. It is tragedies like these that bring us all closer together.
Don

my condolences to you whiplash and all who have suffered through this hard time.
Thankyou so much folks from the bottom of my heart. Melanies' body was recovered from the building on Thursday (3rd) night with one other so that building is now clear. From the report I recieved she wasn't disfigured as such so that may enable a quick indentification so that she can continue this last journey in her short life.
Thankyou one and all at this time.
Love and Respect

Whip,
As others have expressed, mere words can not heal the pain you are experiencing.
So I offer my prayers and thoughts to you and those around you.
I and several of my brothers from another forum are concerned over our friend Bob "Probligo" Renner who've we haven't heard from.
We're praying that Bob is alive and well and just absent due to communication problems.
To all Kiwi's, I personally pray, wish that your recovery from this devastating event is fast and as painless as possible.
Gods Speed to you all.
Tom
Tom,I am sure that if hes known by other rodders in the area, someone will have looked him up..If not,we can only hope and pray that he is ok..
Robin.
Many of us here in the States (especially myself) have never experienced the terror of a earthquake.
Nor, can we appreciate the forces behind them.
Below is a picture of the Christchurch quake the moment it happened.
I acquired it from another site I'm active on.
It is my hope that from this pic we can get a better understanding of the shear power Mother Nature pocesses.
I hope this doesn't open any wounds as that is not my intent.
Again my prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

Thanks Robin.
We're thinking/hoping he's most likely out in the midst of things helping out tirelessly, because that's just how Bob is....
