Dogs are Great to help protect Your Home . My First Pit Bull was Mean as Hell and did not Like anyone near the Doors . The One I have now is a bit more easy going . But she stands up strong when she hears a Loud Knocking at the Door . And I see how easy She bites Large Sticks in Half . Still good to have a Gun on the Ready when your Home so the Dogs don't have to get Hurt if a Crack Head Kicks your Door in . Before I had a Dog I was Home with My then 5 Year old Daughter . Two Burn Outs were trying to Force open the outside Screen Door ! I told My girl to get in the other room . I grabbed My 45 Auto then I told them Burn Outs if I Let go of this Door and you get inside I will shoot ya . They ran off . I was Glad for that . I was most worried about how that would have effected My Daughter . Now she if 20 Years old and Remember how it was a good thing to have a Gun that day .

I am glad everything worked out okay. Dogs are the best deterents for thieves. Thieves would rather hit someone elses home that does not have a dog. My baby does her share of detering
