I have a cell phone, only time I use it is to call AAA when my Hot Rod breaks down on the road ;), which happens a lot, but I do drive it a lot. I only use my GPS on my Hot Rod because the speedo is so off.
Them others gadgets, I don't really know what they are for, let alone own one.
There was a local group here that decided to get together once a month for "happy hour". The whole time we were together (younger bunch than me), they were constantly on some gadget, not talking to any one in the group. One gathering was enough for me.

I've got a paper map! If I can't find it.......... it don't need to be found. My future son in law came to me to ask where somthing was, he didn't have the updated maps in his gps and map quest didn't show it. I pointed to my old and worn map..........right here. I told him when all the satalites fall from the sky, I'll be ok I can still read a map. I've got a cell, but no hard wired phone anymore. Have to have it for work but I hate it. For awhile I was bothered by the tweeting, but then I went out and knocked the nest out of my tree. Then a damed hoot owl moved in, so I cut down the tree..............:D My youngest daughter was walking thru the store and said OMG somthing, it took me a min to figure it out. Now the kids can't even talk in full words, and it's spread to everything. I was looking for uphoulstry vinyl for my 66 found a place Gary's DIY...... After 6 or 7 months I figured out it was Do It Yourself. Why not just say that. The world's gone to hell in a handbasket.... And if you see me in the parts house and I look like I'm talking to myself. Well I AM.... Im not a Borg......... No danged green tooth........I'm just Crazy............:D

I do have to say that the GPS has worked wonders while we are new home searching in another state. Generally it takes us right to where we want to be ---- but occasionally it uses the roundabout way if you don't program it for shortest distance instead of fastest which seldom is unless you are using interstates or US numbered highways
