Don`t forget to tie it down when up, saw one take off at Tahoe one year, went over one row of cars, luckily it landed without hitting anyone or their cars,,,,

Yep, I've seen some weights that fit at the bottom of the legs, look like the plastic barbell weights with a special center; and saw one guy that had some type of bladders that he filled with water and tied to the structure. They will definitely take off in the wind.

Be really careful with tie downs in a public area. I tripped over one on a gloomy day at York a few years ago and broke a bone in my foot, one in my hand and gouged up my face. I used to ski a lot, but never fell that hard. The rest of the weekend - went great but a lot more slowly

    Dave,
I don't think tent type tie-downs have any place in a car show venue. I will be using some type of weights on the legs, either hanging down from above or fitted at the bottom. The guy that had the tie downs is lucky he did not pay for a trip to the emergency room or worse.
