Send it through a media blaster and see what comes out. Then you'll know pretty quick.
with my talents it would be a goner.but theres folks that can do it.my hats off to him if he pulls that one off.
Some people have waaaaaaaaaaay more ambition and energy than me. I've seen projects like that and sometimes they actually save them. WOW!!
Don
after the first pic I was wondering where the cowl went then I found it! It looks like two cars though!
I looked at the Oz forum - couldn't believe he was able to make a car out of that scrap. It looks like he was able to salvage some then make all new pieces for the rest using the 'junk' for a template. Great skills and more patience then I could imagine. Yeah, I know there is satisfaction in bringing back a hulk from the dead.
I tend to get rusty cars because I can afford them them but none of them have been like that one. I believe my wife would shoot me if I came home with that.
i think even at 100 bucks he paid 100 bucks too much. but i have seen some very talented peoples builds here and maybe this guy is another one of them. good luck with it. i will be checking back to see the progress.
I did a Google serch for the term "too far gone" and a picture of this car popped up.
this thing is starting to come together, I will post some better pics when he pushes it out of the shed.
cheers barnsey
