    Gosh, I'm not familiar with how many lines there would be on that particular car. There would be a supply line, a return line, maybe a vapor (fumes): line that goes to a charcoal container. See how many lines there are coming out of the tank and I'll try to help.

    If you have it working with it wired to any power thats on when the key is on, and your using the regulator, why change it if it works?
    She had TPI, not TBI. It held about 55 lbs pressure, pump puts out more than that.

    Or you could just remove the sender/pump Assembly and remove the pump and replace it with hard fuel line the same length as with the pump, It's only held on with rubber hose & clamps. Cap off the return line or keep using it. Convert the canister line to be your vent line.

    Or cap off canister line and replace the gas cap with a vented one. Some times doing that can make the gas spray out when filling the tank.

    thanks pat. charlie was concerned that if there was a accident the fuel would keep pumping until the key was turned off. that is why he wanted to change it.
