Thoughts and prayers for you, Joe!
My mom has has both done (years ago) and it made a word of difference. My daughter's father-in-law recently had both done at the same time (he's mid fifties) and was up and about quickly and back to work (tool & die maker) within a month. Say's it was the best thing he's ever done and he feels great!
Technique is better all the time and the truly "space age" materials will give you good knees for the rest of your life.
So get 'er done and we'll all be praying for a quick recovery!

I check in everyday and some are better than others. I don't think Brent has anything to do with the forum anymore, but I'm not sure. Hopefully as time moves on the forum will get better.
