Weekend Stuff
Well sometimes we have maintenance stuff that dominates our free time. For over a year I've neglected the paint on the 1993 Toyota 4x4 that my wife bought new after she graduated from college. So since it is a daily commuter with 185k on it, I decided to give it some TLC. I buffed the hood and roof which were severely oxidized with a 3m Rubbing compound, then washed and waxed it with turtle wax. It then recieved some armourall and now it looks like a million bucks, minus 17 years depreciation!
Next I tackled the other daily commuter, which had fogged over headlight covers. Again using a 3m product, I sanded the light covers down per instructions with the kit I bought on Amazon. They came out pretty good too!. So now it's time for a few brews and a nap!

Another question, I was told this engine takes 6 quarts of oil. Is that correct? It's a remanufactured 350 with stock pan.
