As far as the people who were cheering for this jerk, as hard as it is to believe, there are a lot of people out there who simply do not think the way most of us do. I don't know if it is upbringing, environment, peer pressure, or what, but I've experienced it firsthand so much in the last few years that I can't stand it. There is a whole group of people who think being arrested and going to jail is just a fact of life, and anyone who can beat the system is a hero.
I hope the fellow officers got to spend a little quality time with this idiot before taking him in and that he resisted arrest and had to be "restrained." Going to prison is too good for guys like this.
