You know this stuff would almost be funny if it were not true.
The government is trying to pass stuff like this and then trying to make our soldiers pay for their own health insurance, even the ones that were wounded in action. Is that crazy or what????
What is wrong with our elected officials, are they not eating and drinking the same stuff we are???? Some thing is not right here!!!! Watch this site below about what they are trying to pass now!!!

Here are my rules....

Punish the Dems for embracing this kind of philosophy, and throwing out over 200 years of fairly successful evolution in goverment... then replacing it with '60s teenage "flower Power" idealisms.

This will also strip Obama's power base, and the Republicans can undo some of the damage, before he is voted out in 2012.

Voting is the only thing we can do... short of a military coup. :-)

I'm a local and county political party committeeman as is my wife. We just carried petitions for our candidates to be on the Nov.2nd ballot. This means that we see who has and has not voted in the last 5-6 elections. We are also county election inspectors - the folks that check you in to vote. We have a pretty prosperous community with good employment numbers. What we saw on those lists was voting at about 50% or less in the past regular inspection, a special election for House Rep and the primaries. I get real irritated with people that complain - when they don't vote. Yes, I would like them to vote the way that I do, but if you don't, then you don't have any right to complain as you are not interested. Oh and my party of choice, I think that's probably easy to figure out if you have read any of my past posts;);)

Lotsatoys; I really don't post that much.
Just lately I have seen some stuff going on that I don't like.
If you look and see how long I have been on this site and then look
at my post and compair them to some one else's you'll see that.
But I am on here all the time reading other folks post and trying to help when I can.
And your right my life does suck I am a disable Vet that has now been permetly disabled in civilian life too, thats to nodgels in my lungs.
So if you don't want my life I don't blame you, because I don't want it myself.

The problem with elections, is that the same trash runs, no matter which side of the isle you are on. George Carlin had a bit, put em in a muddy pit, give em whisky and pcp and a baseball bat, let em fight till only one is left alive. Then take the victor, put him up on a pedestal and then shoot him in the back of the fucking head. Now thats an election. It WILL come one day, maybe not in my lifetime, but it will be similar to a little thing we had a couple of hundred years ago, started with a little tea party. Only this time it won't be the british. It may more resemble the russian revolution. The politicians don't really represent the people anymore, never really did, it just gets more idiotic every year. And Greedy corporate america, that has sold us all down the river, or more acurately around the world. I USED to LOVE my country........ JMO :D

Gee Kurt and Pat and a quite few others here with a couple thousand and way more posts here must not have a life since we are on so often. I really doubt that's a true statement since life "sucks". Lotsatoys, the membership here is voluntary. You really do not need to be here to READ how our life "sucks". There are literally hundreds of automobile related forums on the internet. This is what make it so much fun for us who have a life that "sucks". We can pick and choose where we want our internet "sucking" auto related life to become members. If you are upset about a political thread and whether it turns right or left - well, guess what, there are many more threads that aren't political in nature. If you aren't interested in those either, possibly, quite probably you might have not chosen the right venue in CHR. But I do have to say, while I don't always like the way a thread is going, I can choose another that suits me to either respond to or might even start another that's similar. Now, your accomplishments, since we (and since I'm not really a 'major' poster and a relatively newcomer here since 2007) "suck", would like a discussion about the way you don't "suck".

Three complaints, this thread is now closed.

This is why we do not allow political threads on CHR, someones nose is always going to get bent out of shape. Please refrain from starting any other political threads on this forum.
