Sounds like you’re a lucky man, it could have really been bad. It's a good thing you got there as quick as you did.
I have no tattoos or piercing just a lot of scars from injuries.
Richard
Had my follow up visit to the surgeon and he turned me back over to my regular Doctor - - - had his cute little nurse remove the Satples - - - - I asked him if I could drive and he said "YES" as long as you're not taking the meds. Then I said "what about SEX? - - he replied Sex is great - - - I go YES YES YES and he said but not until next week!"

Glad you are making the best of it. I would say you were one lucky guy.
In a couple of weeks you can grind down the scar tissue and apply some of your Wiffey's make up and bingo "What Scar" :)
Hey where is Buffalo in relation to Austin?
Dang it man you were lucky. now you can start maken up some good story's about that scar lol.
Glad things are looking up. Better be working on a great scar story.
It wasn't "thru the nose". Get well soon!!!!:)
Hope your feeling better Mellow. Now you'll have to grow a full beard to cover up that scar:)
Hey Don, we moved here from Lampasas (big mistake) and BFB is located about half way between Houston and DFW on I-45 !
Used to belong to a HRC out of Buinet called "Lake Area Street Rods- - - - we really miss that bunch, very family and community oriented !
Wow that's a big scar! Glad to hear your doing better! Must be painful turning your head to stare at the cute nurse as she left the room!:3dSMILE:
TIA's are scary. My Aunt had several years of them in the night she would wake up very disoriented. For her it was an adjustment to her heart meds!
Hang in there, heal fast and hang on to that wife she sounds like a keeper!
Here's one for you Mello.
From my favorite movie.

Some strange coincidences are happening, Mello. I thought about you yesterday as my wife and I were returning home from a week-long trip and drove past healthy, happy, Buffalo. I told her that there was a man there that I think I'd like to meet in person some time.
I was unaware of your surgery. I can see where that could scare the britches off a guy. My baby brother (soon to turn seventy) has a "racing stripe" that is just about identical to yours. After nearly losing him, he has been doing great for about two years.
No need to tell you this, but medical science has made really amazing advances in very recent years. Our families might well have had to "order the black box" for you and me had it not been for those advances.
Enjoy your recovery!
Jim
Next time you are down this way, Jim, let me know and I'll PM you my phone number and maybe we can at least meet each other for some kussin' and diskussin'.
Thanks! I'll try to do that.
I'll have to figure out an excuse for coming down alone. My wife has no interest at all in the cars discussed on this forum. Obviously, her parents failed her by not teaching her about life's most important subject.
When we visit we won't be able to compare our surgery scars. Yours is visible enough but my last operations .... uh ...... (how can I say this without fear of getting the boot from CHR?) .... dealt with the opposite end of my anatomy.
Continue to improve!
