Kookie's Car model 77 Sunset Strip

Sacramento Vintage Ford is selling models of Kookie's kar from 77 Sunset Strip. I have to say they are fairly expensive for a model, but I know a bunch of you guys grew up on this show and were inspired by his hot rod, so I figured I put this link up for you model enthusiast! $150 for a 1:24 scale model, $195 if you want one signed by Norm Grabowski. I have to say Danbury mint did do a nice job on the details. (I get a monthly news letter from Sac Vint Ford and saw they were advertising these)

It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.

Very cool, and Norms signature is sure worth $ 25 IMO.........he started it all T wise.

We older guys pretty much were all glued to the TV sets on Friday night back then, hoping for a glimpse. That car is a perfect example how a car can be so proportionately wrong that it is still right. I've watched Von Francos "The car that ate my brain" a bunch of times and can't get enough of it.

Thanks for the heads up Steve.
