A blast from my past
Recently a childhood friend Bob got in touch with me on Facebook.(I'm not really a Facebook kind of guy BTW)He had a picture of a MG TD classic that I and my ex-brother-in-law Paul had built. When Paul bought the car from a guy in Texas it had a 283 with a 3 speed stick and a Chevy rear end in it.We did a frame up build with a 350 that had a Man-A-Free induction and a 4 Speed close ratio tranny and a vett IRS swing rear end.At the time the hot ticket was as many coats of hand rubbed paint was the way to go and this car had 15 coats of black.Bob had the pictures because I had forgotten he had bought the car from Paul after we completed it.Good Bye

Great looking little MG. Bet it hauled and surprised some unsuspecting people. The mags look perfect on there too. American torque thrusts?

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
