Well,if ya cant get in it,and ya cant get on it,is it remote controlled???:whacked::confused:
Is that a Whizzer gas tank molded into the top?
lamin8r, Actually it is driveable. As hard as it may be to believe the dude that built and owns that ----- whatever it is, drove it at that show were that picture was taking. He even made a couple of pass's down a drag strip. And he isn't really a small dude, his like regular size. Whatching him get into and out of that thing is pretty funny. If you do a little looking there are severeal Videos of him driving it on the web. U-Tube I think.

Here it is...

Ouch, it hurts my back and neck to even look at that - - - - - reminded me of my Granson and the weed-eater when he put her on the Strip :D
we`ve discussed " safe and unsafe " vehicles on here before .. this gets my vote as the most unsafe thing i`ve ever seen
I would agree. No seat belt.... the alignment is out, front and rear.... the clutch seems bad.... and it probably violates several safety rules for either street or drag racing use.
Yes--------but it does look COOL!!!
Where is the Jolly Green Giant when you need him?
Hoss, you gotta be right, that thing is for sure unsafe looking, that is if it was ever driven anywhere other than a parking lot, thats probably as far as it goes. Kinda a spoof me thinks. There seems to be a whole clan of these things running around too.
But then there is safe and unsafe. This pick-up I am showing a picture of is supposedly a daily driver......... well maybe!! It was for sale on E-Bay with a Buy It Now price of $17,500. I imagine they were beating his door down for a shot of that one.

Hombre, that F100 is the biggest pile of anything I think I have ever seen, what a waste, even if it was a pig to start with...The other VW is on u tube,I found that when I was looking for the other one..The dude who built that job was quite large as well,,saw him getting out of it,all I can say is..I would love to see him get out when his life depended on it...
And,yeah, you are going to have to tell us young uns what a Whizzer is...it vaguely sounds familiar, but it dont...if that makes sense..
Mike B,,thank you, will check it out...
Whizzer's were Motor Bikes. I think they are still available maybe even New.

I thought so, here's a picture of what the new Whizzer looks like.

Heck now those Whizzers are cool... I like volkrodz but to me why build something that would only have limited use... I would like and old whizzer for riding around the swap meets on towing a little trailer for the purchases ofcourse...
The one I had (Whizzer, I mean) came as a kit to be put on whatever kind of bicycle the buyer happened to have. I had an old "Western Flyer" that I put mine on. I bought the components used. If I recall, I paid $20 for the stuff.
Power was applied to the rear wheel by a rubber roller thing that was turned by the engine. The spinning roller was pressed against the rear tire by pulling up on a lever. Simple, but it worked.
A dealership for the new Whizzer opened in Addison (Dallas area) a year or two ago but it didn't last long. I heard there were quality problems but I'm not sure about that.
I will say that the new products were really neat looking little rides!

me and my childhood buddy built one in the early '50s and it left a lot to be desired but it was fun doing it - - - - I think if we had access to some different sized pulleys and sprockets it would have done much better - - - lol
Whizzer was possibly the first HYBIRD vehicle?????
