Yep this happened to a buddy of mine a few years back.
He had a late 60's Elcamino put it in a body shop to have a few dings removed from the bed. The shop burned down while the car was in there, made me sick.
He had all the good stuff in it, and what ever was not painted was chromed.
Big block with a Dana 60 rear end, just a beautiful machine.
Lost in a fire, thank God he had it insured.
But he said he will never build one again to much time and money.
Thats Sad!!!!
