Very cool Barnsey. I'm working on a electronic trolley restoration project right now. Our town had a electric trolley train that ran between two neihboring towns back in the fifties. It is our hopes to restore a small local area of track including a trestle in our downtown area. We have a few of the original cars in various states of repair. We also have an old luxury liner that is all mahogany inside with stain glass windows, that we are raising funds to fix.

thats kool, i love all these old type resto's.
a guy on another forum i am on lives and in Ohio responded to my post with this information
(That is kept in a museum about 50 miles from me.
The stainless panels on the sides were not available, so new tooling was made, and it was reproduced just for this restoration. They made much more than was needed, and a buddy of mine was able to get enough to do his 1948 Flxible bus. It's been converted to 6-53 diesel power, and outfitted as a motor home.)
cheers barnsey

I believe the Futurliner went to a museum in Gatewood Co south of Grand Junction. Not sure if its still there or not.

IIRC GM built 8 Futureliners and maybe 5 still are known to exist.
