My wife cleaning out a closet found these . Rare muffler hangers like these have all but disappeared from the face of the earth . She was quick letting me know since I am always looking for one to use in the garage .

Nope, those are traditional welding rods and they occasionally are used for gas pedal to carb rods. The new plastic ones don't work worth a d***.

I would put them on Ebay.

Don I had totally forgot about the gas welding and flux with them . Thanks for reminding had to use the one's with no paint .

thank you for that .. iv`e used them many a time .. also holds a battery in place

Yup, shirts too. I know it sounds odd now, but until the medication kicks in, that's my story.

And to hold worn out tie rod in socket.............was working in Chevy dealership got to see this one first hand,man drove the car from central Tenn to Pensacola ,Fl with hanger wrapped around end to hold it together !!
