I have a 4 speed Manual. The side access plates ( 1 each side ) are approx ( vertical ) 4" x 6" with a bolt pattern as 1( bottom ) -2-2-1 ( top ). It does have a granny gear.
Any ideas of the make and years of manufacturing?

Thanks - J.........
Now as long as I can figure out the ratios.......
What are my limitations with the ratios on this?
Do I even want to mess with them. I like the idea of a very low gear but the dif between 3 and 4 is pretty wide. Almost no power until I get up to 60 or 65 from 50 /55. :whacked:
First gear will be in the 6.5:1 range, give or take a few points; second will be around 3.0 or 2.5, third in the 1.7 range, and fourth is 1:1. Basically, it is a three speed, with a very deep additional first gear for getting heavy loads started, and creeping and crawling in rough terrain. The side plates are for the PTO takeoffs; if I remember right, one will run off of the cluster gear, and the other is driven from the output shaft; they have different applications.
Thanks Rrumbler!
That is good info.
I am initiating a rebuild and that will help alot!
