I bought a new set of wires when starting the engine rebuild and six months later while hooking them up found that a mouse has chewed on the outside of on of them. He ate thru the insulation and a little in the glass but not into the center conductor. I am thinking I can tape over and use it. The area is up on the cap. Being in the country I have had problems with mice under the hood of cars outside but none in the garage where the cats live. I will have a talk with them.
